Agrivol's vision is to create a brand that reminds to sustainable agriculture, crops not contaminated by chemicals and sustainable machinery.

Such an important ecological transition cannot prescind from innovative technological solutions.

Agrivol focuses on the design of technologically advanced solutions to be integrated into the agricultural sector.

Agribot

It is an innovative autonomous Rover, whose design philosophy meets the need to develop a "general purpose" solution 

The development of the Rover is related to the broader context of Agrivol's vision, which aims to provide technical solutions to introduce electric traction machines in agricultural processes.

They avoid the traditional machines’ problems (weight and low power).
The project is placed in the context of eco-sustainability, by integrating technologies avoiding the degradation of the physical structure of the soil, in contrast to the current agricultural machines (more powerful, polluting and heavy ones, such as tractors).  

Agribot

The product will autonomously carry out the main agricultural operations and will allow agricultural workers to be relieved of heavy tasks and thus to relieve them from the fatigue of working in the fields or greenhouses.

Another purpose is to increase organic production, by reducing the impact on the environment and the inputs in agricultural processes (such as chemical fertilizers and energy used in applications). The consumption reduction will come from the consequent abatement of the carbon emissions, that increases the product sustainability. 

L’elevata automatizzazione del Rover comporta dunque una riduzione della manodopera necessaria nella coltivazione, manodopera che comunque potrebbe essere impiegata in contesti più qualificati come ad esempio la manutenzione del Rover e delle sue componenti meccaniche.

L’idea è quella di proporre una Rover che, a seconda delle necessità riscontrate all’interno dei contesti agricoli in cui verrà impiegato, sia in grado di poter operare autonomamente ogni tipo di operazione necessaria.

The aim of the project is to launch a robotic solution on the market that meets the themes of sustainable agriculture, of not contaminated crops by the use of chemical fertilizers and polluting machinery (e.g. tractors).
The Rover makes it possible to implement sustainable organic farming which respects the environment (no carbon emissions in the entire production chain from producer to consumer), and uses electric motors powered by renewable energy. It allows the intelligent management of natural cycles and sustainable exploitation of environmental resources.

Software Features 

Modular platform - it carries out different agricultural operations by connecting accessory modules suitably developed for specific applications.
Electric All-Wheel Drive - the Rover is equipped with 4 electric motors, one for each wheel, which provide a fully electric all-wheel drive system.
Multisensory - A complex sensory network (GPS, IMU, LiDAR, ecc.)
